Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7-9 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a medium-sized, off-white head possessing good persistence and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent clementine, lemon peel, and light resin. A low, clean, grainy-sweet maltiness suggests toasted biscuit. Fermentation is very clean with negligible esters, allowing the hop oils to remain the primary focus.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with flavors of ripe orange and lemon zest. A low, supporting malt character offers hints of fresh bread and biscuit. Medium-high hop bitterness (within the 40-70 IBU range) provides a clean, assertive counterpoint to the fruitiness. The finish is dry and lingering with a crisp, hoppy aftertaste.
