This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant, saturated hop profile driven by a curated trio of cultivars. Nectaron dominates the foreground with intense, oily pineapple notes, while Amarillo adds a sophisticated layer of floral orange spice. Simcoe provides a necessary counterpoint, weaving in classic nuances of resinous pine and bright citrus. The sensory experience is supported by a soft, bready malt backbone that enhances the plush, velvety texture. These elements converge to create a juice-like impression with minimal bitterness, focusing entirely on hop-derived tropicality and stone fruit esters for a smooth, immensely drinkable finish that epitomizes modern hop-forward brewing.
Appearance. Straw to pale gold (4 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Pours with a dense, white, meringue-like head that exhibits high retention and leaves intricate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring dominant notes of pineapple, orange zest, and a hint of grapefruit, accented by floral spice and light resinous pine. Low bready malt character in the background with clean, fruity fermentation esters.
Taste. Massive hop flavors of ripe pineapple and sweet citrus marmalade follow the aroma. Initial impression is juicy and fruit-centric with a low to medium-low bitterness. Malt flavor is medium-low with a neutral, doughy character. The finish is soft and off-dry, leaving a lingering, clean fruit aftertaste without any hop harshness or astringency.
