Fresh Fluff is a quintessential Hazy IPA defined by the massive addition of fresh Citra hops from Carpenter Ranches. This seasonal release showcases an intense sensory profile bursting with vibrant mango, succulent apricot, and zesty orange zest. The fresh hop character imparts a lush, dew-kissed fruitiness that complements a neutral, bready malt base. True to its name, the mouthfeel is exceptionally soft and pillowy, providing a smooth canvas for the complex tropical layers. The finish remains gentle and juicy, emphasizing the depth of biotransformation and the unique aromatic intensity only achievable with undried hops during the peak of the harvest season.
Appearance. 4 SRM. Opaque, straw-gold with a characteristic hazy shine. Features a dense, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick, persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical Citra character, specifically ripe mango and apricot, layered with bright orange zest. Background malt is low and neutral, providing a light grainy or bready support. Clean fermentation with no harsh greenness.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with massive notes of stone fruit and citrus. Malt flavor is low, suggesting flaked grains and pale malt. Low to medium perceived bitterness that is well-masked by the soft body. The finish is off-dry, juicy, and remarkably smooth.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and fluffy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift. Very low alcohol warmth and a complete absence of hop harshness or astringency.

And thus the freshest, fluffiest & haziest IPA in all the land is born, bursting with notes of mango, apricot and orange zest. So many fresh hops were harmed in the making of this beer, there oughta be a law.
