This Northwest Hazy IPA presents a vibrant, juice-like character defined by a massive dry-hop addition of Citra, El Dorado, and Vic Secret. It evokes an immediate sensory image of fresh-squeezed orange juice, delivering a high-intensity bouquet of ripe papaya, strawberry, and pineapple. On the palate, the experience is remarkably soft and pillowy, transitioning into lush flavors of mango, bright orange, and tropical passionfruit. Appearance. Deep straw to golden-orange (5–7 SRM) with a distinct, opaque haze and a juice-like shine. It features a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with very high retention and substantial lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring prominent ripe papaya and sweet strawberry notes from El Dorado, alongside bright pineapple and citrus zest from Citra and Vic Secret. Low, clean, bready malt aroma provides a neutral background with no caramel or toast character.
Taste. High-intensity fruit flavors of juicy mango, naval orange, and tart passionfruit. The malt flavor is low and grainy-sweet, supporting a moderate-low perceived bitterness that is soft rather than sharp. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a clean, lingering tropical fruit aftertaste devoid of any hop harshness.
