Cloud Lane is a vivid Hazy IPA that serves as a canvas for the next generation of New Zealand hops. The newly debuted Superdelic variety drives the sensory profile, offering a unique blend of red berries and sweet candy-like notes. This tropical intensity is bolstered by the signature pineapple and stone fruit punch of Nectaron, while a strategic addition of Bru-1 provides a fresh, green depth and further layers of ripe fruit. The experience is incredibly juicy, defined by a saturated hop character and a soft, pillowy mouthfeel that masks any sharp edges. It is a modern, fruit-forward expression of the style with a trippy, multi-layered complexity.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM) with an opaque, uniform haze that provides a soft, glowing shine. It is topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical and stone fruits. Prominent notes of pineapple, peach, and passion fruit are joined by a distinct red berry and citrus character. The malt is subtle, providing a clean, bready background, while fruity fermentation esters harmonize with the hop oils.
Taste. An initial explosion of tropical fruit, specifically ripe pineapple and nectarine, followed by a mid-palate of sweet berry confectionery.
