This non-alcoholic interpretation of a Straight Sour Beer delivers a vibrant sensory experience inspired by the classic Kir Royale cocktail. A collaboration between Mash Gang and Vault City, it features the intense, tart character of Scottish blackcurrants layered over the sophisticated, vinous notes of white grape. The aroma is dominated by sharp berry skin and a crisp, lactic acidity that mimics the effervescence of champagne. A subtle biscuity malt backbone provides just enough structure to support the prickly carbonation. It finishes bone-dry and refreshing, capturing the elegant, fruity essence of a high-end aperitif without the alcohol.
Appearance. Deep magenta to royal purple hue with brilliant clarity. Pours with a lively but short-lived pinkish-white head that fades quickly to a thin collar, typical of highly acidic fruit beers.
