Maset Munich is a classic Weissbier that captures the essence of Bavarian tradition through its unfiltered, "white beer" presentation. True to its roots, it displays a characteristic hazy, pale straw hue beneath a voluminous, moussy head. The sensory experience is led by a delicate fermentation profile, where subtle banana esters and soft clove phenols harmonize with the bready, grainy notes of malted wheat and Pilsner malt. Its soft and light palate is remarkably refreshing, delivering a fluffy mouthfeel and high carbonation that cleanses the tongue, finishing dry with just a whisper of spicy hop character.
Appearance.Pale gold (3–5 SRM) with a distinct, cloudy turbidity from suspended yeast. Crowned by a very thick, long-lasting, creamy white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma.Moderate intensity featuring a classic balance of banana esters and spicy clove phenols. A foundational bready, doughy wheat character is present, with very low floral hop notes and no diacetyl.
Taste.Initial impression of soft wheat and grainy sweetness. Flavors of banana and clove are well-integrated and moderate. Very low hop bitterness allows a gentle malt-forward start, though the finish is crisp and relatively dry. No harshness or bubblegum traits.
Mouthfeel.Medium-light body with a characteristic fluffy fullness. High carbonation creates a spritzy, effervescent sensation on the palate. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated.
