Mas Malta American Zhykuta reimagines a classic homebrew heritage as a vibrant American Pale Ale. This amber-hued ale presents a robust sensory profile driven by the interplay of toasted malts and a modern hop trifecta. Bright citrus and floral notes from Citra and Amarillo dominate the olfactory experience, further deepened by a strategic dry hopping of Simcoe and Amarillo that adds resinous complexity. On the palate, a supportive malt base provides bready and light caramel undertones, balancing a firm but clean bitterness. The finish is crisp and hop-forward, leaving a lingering impression of grapefruit zest and pine.

Appearance. Amber to deep toasted copper (10 SRM); clear with a moderately large, persistent off-white head and fine lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high intensity featuring prominent citrus and floral notes from Citra and Amarillo hops. A background of resinous pine from Simcoe is evident, supported by low to moderate toasted, bready malt character and very low fruity esters.

Taste. Balanced initial impression of toasted malt and biscuit, quickly followed by a moderate-high hop bitterness. Flavors of grapefruit, orange peel, and floral blossoms from Amarillo and Citra are primary, while Simcoe provides a subtle earthy, resinous depth. The finish is medium-dry with a clean, lingering hop bitterness.
