Originating as a historic pioneer, this low-alcohol British Brown Ale delivers an unexpectedly rich and luscious profile. Pouring a deep mahogany with a warm garnet flash, it immediately releases a comforting aroma of creamy toffee, toasted sweet nuts, and a gentle undertone of red fruits. On the palate, its remarkably light alcohol content is cleverly masked by a soft, medium-bodied mouthfeel that showcases layers of sweet caramel, dark sugar, and a mild, chocolatey roastiness. Balancing hops remain whispering in the background, leaving a clean, delightfully sweet, toffee-laden finish.
Appearance. Dark reddish-brown mahogany color with excellent clarity. Crowned by a low, creamy, light tan head with moderate retention.
Aroma. Moderate to high sweet malt aroma dominated by rich caramel, creamy toffee, and toasted nuts. Very low earthy hop aroma, supported by subtle, complementary dark fruit esters like plum and raisin.
