This Berry Mead offers a vivid sensory immersion into the Glen Fyne raspberry. It presents a striking, deep crimson hue and an explosive bouquet where the intense, jammy essence of handpicked berries meets the delicate, floral perfume of Norwegian wildflower honey from Sveen Vestre. On the palate, the purity of the Glen Fyne variety dominates, delivering a powerful surge of tart red fruit and natural sweetness, supported by a rich, viscous body. The wildflower honey provides a complex, fragrant foundation that rounds out the high acidity, leading into a lingering, fruit-forward finish with subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
Appearance. Brilliant, deep ruby-magenta with intense saturation; pours with a thin, fleeting pinkish collar that leaves minimal lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominated by fresh, sun-ripened raspberry puree and jammy preserves. Complementary notes of floral wildflower honey, lightly herbal and fragrant, with a clean, soft ethanol presence.
