Pale Ale 5 º 16 IBU
This Alternative Grain Beer presents a poetic sensory profile defined by its unique bread-derived characteristics. A delicate foundation of raw dough and fresh breadcrumb provides a pillowy backdrop for vibrant top notes of apricot, peach, and green grape. As the beer breathes, citrus nuances evolve into distinct lemon and orange, complemented by hints of fresh grass and succulent greenery. The experience is exceptionally refined, offering a velvety, almost bucolic texture that balances a soft, welcoming sweetness with a gentle, refreshing bitterness. It is a nuanced, elegant composition that prioritizes drinkability and a harmonious, thirst-quenching finish.
Appearance. Pale golden (SRM 3-5); nearly transparent and brilliant clarity. Dense, white foam head with medium persistence and significant lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity with a complex bouquet of stone fruits including apricot and peach, alongside green grape. Secondary citrus notes of lemon and orange emerge over time. The aromatic backbone is defined by a firm, doughy presence of raw bread and breadcrumb, with a subtle, candy-like sweet undertone.
Taste. Initial impression is soft and welcoming. Dominant flavors of bread dough and fresh white bread crumbs from the alternative grain usage. Fruit flavors of apricot and citrus mirror the aroma. Bitterness is low, smooth, and refreshing, integrating perfectly with the malt base. The finish is clean and slightly sweet with a delicate, lingering fruitiness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a distinctive velvety and silky-smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. No perceived alcohol warmth. Extremely high drinkability with a refreshing, thirst-quenching character and no astringency.
