This Double IPA delivers a saturated Southern Hemisphere hop profile, defined by an expressive blend of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Pacific Sunrise, and Riwaka. At 8% ABV, the sensory experience is led by Nelson Sauvin’s signature crushed white grape and gooseberry, complemented by the bright lime zest of Motueka. Pacific Sunrise and Riwaka deepen the complexity with layers of ripe passionfruit, pink grapefruit, and melon. While the hop bitterness is firm and assertive, it remains remarkably smooth, supported by a clean, neutral malt backbone. The finish is dry and lingering, emphasizing tropical resin and crisp citrus without any harshness or heavy residual sweetness.

Appearance. Deep gold to pale orange with a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves consistent lacing. Exhibits good clarity with only a very slight haze from the intensive dry-hopping.

Aroma. Intense hop-forward aroma featuring prominent notes of white wine grapes, gooseberry, and tropical passionfruit. Secondary citrus notes of lime and grapefruit are present. Malt is low and neutral, providing a grainy background, while the fermentation profile is clean with a subtle, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors dominated by lime, white grape, and tropical fruit. Bitterness is moderately high but clean and devoid of harshness. A low, soft, crackery malt character supports the hops without adding sweetness. The finish is dry and crisp with a long, resinous, and fruity hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A restrained and well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, with no hop-derived astringency.
