This Double IPA is a vibrant showcase of Southern Hemisphere hops, delivering an intense sensory experience driven by a heavy dry-hop of Nelson, Motueka, Pacific Sunrise, and Riwaka. The Nelson influence brings distinct crushed gooseberry and white wine notes, while Motueka adds a bright zest of lime. Pacific Sunrise and Riwaka contribute deep layers of melon, stone fruit, and pungent passion fruit. Despite its 8% ABV, the profile remains remarkably clean and focused on hop expression, supported by a neutral, grainy malt backbone. It finishes dry and crisp with a firm, lingering bitterness that invites another sip, embodying the punchy, modern spirit of the style.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper (6-9 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head and good clarity, though a very slight dry-hop haze may be present.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit (passion fruit, melon), citrus (lime zest), and vinous notes (white grapes). Low, neutral, grainy-sweet malt in the background; clean fermentation profile with a very subtle, smooth alcohol note.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of gooseberry, lime, and tropical stone fruit. High bitterness that remains firm but smooth without harshness. Low, clean malt character provides a soft support without sweetness. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, clean hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium to medium-high. Provides a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth appropriate for its 8% ABV with no hop-derived astringency.
