This vibrant American IPA, crafted with the clean, crisp profile of a Cold IPA, showcases a sophisticated hop blend of Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Motueka. The sensory experience is lead by an aromatic explosion of zesty lime and grapefruit, transitioning into lush tropical fruit and the signature white grape and gooseberry nuances provided by Nelson Sauvin. A lean, pale malt base allows the intricate hop characteristics to remain the focal point, delivering a bright, refreshing bitterness without any heavy caramel interference. With its snappy finish and sparkling clarity, it represents a modern, highly drinkable interpretation of the style.
Appearance. Pours a brilliant, pale gold (approx. 5-7 SRM) with a medium-sized, frothy white head that shows good persistence and leaves fine lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus, tropical mango, and distinct white grape notes. A clean, low, grainy-sweet maltiness provides a neutral backdrop. Fermentation is exceptionally clean with no perceptible esters or phenols.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and crisp. High hop flavors of lemon zest, pineapple, and crushed grapes dominate a low, crackery malt base. Bitterness is firm and clean, consistent with a modern IPA profile. The finish is very dry and refreshing with a lingering, hoppy aftertaste that lacks any harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, snappy texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the refreshing quality. No alcohol warmth is perceived at 5% ABV, and there is zero astringency.
