Maplewood Brewing Company

Pulaski Pils is a bright, Chicago-influenced interpretation of the classic German Pils. Built on a base of Pilsner and Vienna malt, it offers a sophisticated toasted cracker and light honey backbone. The use of Santiam hops provides a distinctive, elegant floral and spicy hop profile, amplified through dry-hopping while maintaining traditional lager cleanliness. On the palate, the beer is exceptionally crisp and dry, delivering a firm but balanced bitterness that highlights the mineral qualities of the water. This is an exceedingly drinkable, light-bodied lager that balances old-world precision with a fresh, hop-forward floral aroma and a snappy, refreshing finish.

Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2-4 SRM); brilliant clarity; large, creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity; prominent floral and herbal hop notes from the Santiam dry-hop; low grainy-sweet and doughy malt character with a hint of toasted honey; clean fermentation with no esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial crisp malt sweetness quickly transitions to a firm hop bitterness; flavors of toasted cracker and light grain; hop flavors are spicy and floral; medium-high bitterness; finishes very dry, clean, and refreshing with a lingering hop snap.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation; crisp and effervescent; no alcohol warmth; smooth but with a slight mineral sharpness that enhances the dry finish.
