Appearance. Opaque, jet-black body with a thick, dense, dark-brown head that exhibits moderate retention. Viscous legs slowly coat the glass upon swirling, reflecting the high alcohol content and substantial gravity.
Aroma. Intense and highly complex aroma dominated by rich espresso, dark chocolate, and roasted malts, seamlessly interwoven with prominent sweet maple syrup and aromatic Madagascar vanilla. The Heaven Hill bourbon barrels contribute distinct notes of toasted oak, caramel, and a smooth, warming whiskey character. The finish is long, moderately sweet, and deeply complex, leaving lasting impressions of vanilla, dark-roasted malts, and a gentle bourbon warmth.
Mouthfeel. Full to exceptionally full-bodied, chewy, and coating with a velvety, luscious, and viscous texture. Carbonation is low to moderate. A distinct, velvety alcohol warmth is present but incredibly smooth and integrated, free of any harshness or hot, fusel notes.
