This Hazy IPA is a saturated sensory powerhouse, driven by a massive triple dry-hop addition of Strata and Citra totaling 32 grams per liter. The resulting profile is intensely tropical, where Strata contributes pungent notes of passion fruit and a subtle dank edge, complemented by the bright grapefruit and lime zest of Citra. It presents a luminous, opaque golden glow with a plush, meringue-like head. The palate is exceptionally soft and pillowy, allowing layers of mango and citrus to shine against a neutral, bready malt backdrop, finishing with a smooth, restrained bitterness and a juicy, lingering aftertaste.
Appearance. Color is a hazy, opaque deep gold with a luminous shine. Supports a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical passion fruit, mango, and bright citrus zest including grapefruit and lime. Background notes of light bready, grainy malt are present; no caramel or toast. Fermentation is clean and neutral.
Taste. Very high fruity hop flavors echoing the aroma with mango, stone fruit, and citrus. Low bready malt flavor provides a soft foundation. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low due to the full body and off-dry finish. The aftertaste is juicy and smooth, devoid of any hop harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, with no astringency or raw starch character.
