Enceladus Oceans presents a contemporary, botanical reimagining of a Gose. This sessionable ale opens with a bright, zesty lemon punch, harmonized by the earthy, herbal undertones of green tea. The addition of vanilla provides a softening, creamy aromatic layer that rounds out the sharp lactic tartness typical of the style. Built on a doughy Pilsner and wheat malt foundation, the sensory experience is further elevated by a delicate salt presence that enhances the mouthwatering quality of each sip. Light floral hop notes flicker in the background, leading to a crisp, effervescent finish that remains intensely refreshing and complex.

Appearance. Yellow (3 SRM) with a moderate to full haze. Features a moderate white head with tight bubbles and good retention, accompanied by visible effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity with a notable lactic tartness and bright lemon zest. A distinct herbal, slightly grassy green tea character is present, supported by bready wheat malt and a subtle, sweet vanilla bean aromatic. Hop character is very low and floral.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply tart and refreshing. Moderate bready malt flavor is quickly overtaken by citrusy lemon and earthy tea tannins. The vanilla adds a perceived sweetness and smoothness to the mid-palate, though the finish is bone-dry. Salt is noticeable as a tingly, savory spark that enhances the lemon. Bitterness is very low.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high, effervescent carbonation. The salt provides a mouthwatering, tingly quality that adds a rounder sensation to the palate. No alcohol warmth is perceived.
