beers what resulted in a cuvee that awaits the connoisseur with complex aromas. IPA matured in the Slyrs whisky barrel and strong Bock beer matured in Rum and Highland whisky barrels together form our barrel aged beer named “Stocksauer”. You might think it is a somehow unusual name for a beer – but there´s a funny story behind it from our everyday life in the brewery. When tasting the barrel sample, the first reaction of our brew master was something like “That beer is really pissed off!”. He immediately earned irritated looks from our beer sommelier, who perceived the taste somewhat differently and only tasted a slight acid note.
