This Italian Pilsner presents a modern, hop-forward evolution of the classic German Pils. Built on a crisp base of Pilsner Malt, the beer highlights the elegant, spicy bitterness of Tettnang in harmony with the vibrant dry-hop character of WetHOP Mandarina Bavaria. The sensory profile is defined by an assertive bouquet of refreshing citrus and delicate floral nuances that elevate the traditional noble hop spice. A clean fermentation from the WLP830 lager yeast ensures a sharp, refreshing profile, leading to a bone-dry finish that emphasizes the bright, essential oils of the specialized German hops.

Appearance. SRM 4. Deep straw to light gold color; brilliant clarity. Renders a dense, creamy white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high intensity. Dominant hop-forward profile featuring bright tangerine citrus and orange peel from the Mandarina Bavaria, backed by spicy, floral, and herbal notes. Low grainy-sweet, cracker-like malt aroma. Very clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial light grainy malt flavor is immediately met by a firm, clean bitterness. Distinctive hop flavors of dried herbs and flowers from Tettnang blend with a zesty citrus quality. Bitterness is medium-high but not harsh, leading into a crisp, bone-dry finish with a lingering floral hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with high carbonation, creating a brisk and refreshing prickly sensation. No alcohol warmth. Smooth texture with a clean, mineral-like snap on the swallow.
