This explosive Double IPA showcases a powerful hop profile driven by Centennial, Citra, and Columbus additions. An intense aromatic burst of resinous pine and candied orange leads into a complex palate of bittersweet grapefruit and tropical mango. The use of Golden Promise malt provides a sturdy, deeply composed backbone that supports the high bitterness from Magnum hops without becoming heavy or cloying. At 9.2% ABV, it delivers a smooth, warming sensation that integrates seamlessly with the lingering citrus oils, resulting in a bold, assertive, yet remarkably drinkable representation of the Double IPA style.

Appearance. Gold to deep orange-copper (8–10 SRM) with good clarity and a slight hop-induced haze. Features a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resinous pine, zesty grapefruit, and ripe mango. Supported by a clean, grainy malt background and light notes of candied orange peel; fermentation is neutral with a hint of clean alcohol.

Taste. Initial impression is a massive wave of hop flavor including grapefruit zest, pine resin, and tropical fruit. Firm, high bitterness is balanced by a soft, bready malt sweetness that quickly yields to a medium-dry, lingering finish of hop oils and citrus pith.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate-high. Noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth provides a satisfying glow without being harsh or solventy.
