Magic Rock Brewing

Stiggy Pop is a robust Hazy IPA that balances lush fruitiness with a distinct resinous edge. The inclusion of rye and oats creates a substantial, silky body that carries an intense hop profile of dank pine and tropical fruit. Fermented with London Fog yeast, the beer exhibits a soft, ester-driven sweetness that complements the hop-forward character. While typical of the style, the finish provides a satisfying bitterness that provides excellent structure. The house malt base remains supportive, allowing the spicy rye notes and juicy hop layers to shine through a smooth, pillowy texture that defines this classic Magic Rock offering.

Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM) with a heavy, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Pours with a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves dense lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical stone fruit and citrus, contrasted by deep, resinous pine and dank earthiness. The London Fog yeast contributes subtle fruity esters of peach and melon. A low, grainy malt presence with a hint of spicy rye is detectable in the background.

Taste. The initial impression is a burst of juicy tropical fruit and orange zest, followed quickly by a spicy, grainy malt character from the rye and oats. Moderate hop bitterness provides structure, leaning into resinous pine and herbal notes. The finish is off-dry and smooth, with a lingering fruitiness and a clean, integrated bitterness that avoids harshness or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture bolstered by the high oat and rye content. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth, cream-like sensation. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 7.3% ABV, without any harshness or raw starch feel.
