Magic Road

This Double IPA offers an intense hop-forward experience defined by the classic synergy of Citra and Amarillo hops. A vibrant bouquet of pink grapefruit, zesty lime, and ripe tangerine greets the senses, underscored by subtle floral and resinous pine notes. The pale malt bill provides a lean, neutral canvas that ensures the hop character remains the focal point without unnecessary sweetness. A firm bitterness provides structure, leading into a crisp, dry finish that emphasizes refreshing citrus zest. At 7.5% ABV, it balances substantial hop saturation with remarkable drinkability, presenting a bright and modern sensory profile.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM) with good clarity and a moderate, persistent off-white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, lime, and tropical fruit from the Citra, complemented by orange and light floral tones from the Amarillo. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light grainy background. Fermentation is clean with very low esters.

Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of citrus zest, tangerine, and light pine resin dominate. Bitterness is moderately high and firm but clean, never harsh. The malt character is low and supportive, offering a soft, crackery foundation. The finish is dry with a lingering hoppy bitterness and a touch of grapefruit pith.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. A subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being solventy.
