Maestró Bloom is a quintessential American IPA designed to showcase the monovarietal elegance of Centennial hops. This expression pours with a dense, persistent foam that carries a vibrant bouquet of lavender, fresh rose petals, and citrus zest, anchored by a distinct pine resin undertone. A trio of carefully selected malts provides a firm yet lean structural foundation, allowing the hop character to take center stage without being overwhelmed. On the palate, a clean, grainy malt sweetness briefly surfaces before succumbing to a crisp, assertive bitterness. The result is a beautifully balanced, floral-forward ale with a lingering, refreshing finish.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 8–10 SRM). Features a dense, creamy, off-white head with excellent persistence and intricate lacing. Clarity is brilliant.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Centennial characteristics: pronounced floral notes like geranium, bright citrus zest of grapefruit, and a touch of pine resin. Low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops. Fermentation profile is neutral and clean.
Taste. Assertive hop flavors of citrus and floral meadows lead the palate. Medium-high bitterness is clean and well-integrated into the structure. A background of low, bready malt provides necessary balance. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, pleasant hoppy bitterness and light resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate to medium-high, contributing to a crisp sensation. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
