Where the Party At is a vibrant collaboration that merges Canadian craft expertise with Hungarian flair, delivering a lush, modern take on a Double IPA. Dominated by the punchy interplay of Citra and Rakau hops, the sensory profile is an explosion of tropical intensity. Expect saturated notes of mango, apricot, and zesty grapefruit. Despite its 7.8% ABV, the beer maintains a smooth, approachable character, balancing a soft, grainy malt backbone with a clean fermentation profile. This hop-forward powerhouse avoids heavy sweetness, opting instead for a bright, aromatic saturation that defines the contemporary hazy interpretation of the style, focusing on fruit-forward depth and a polished, drinkable finish.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-9 SRM). Pours with a hazy, opaque appearance and a moderate-sized, persistent, creamy off-white head that leaves consistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus, mango, and grapefruit from Citra, paired with the distinctive stone fruit and apricot notes of Rakau. A supportive, neutral, grainy maltiness sits in the background alongside a lightly fruity fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Taste. A strong and complex hop flavor mirrors the aroma with layers of tropical fruit and citrus. Initial impression is of ripe stone fruit followed by a firm, moderately high bitterness that remains smooth and lacks harshness. Soft, bready malt character provides a clean backbone. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous hop aftertaste and a touch of fruit essence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate. Features a restrained, smooth alcohol warmth without any harsh hop-derived astringency.
