This Raspberry Trifle Junior reimagines the historical Gose as a vibrant, dessert-inspired ale. A lush, jammy aroma of fresh raspberry puree dominates the nose, accented by the smooth, aromatic sweetness of real vanilla. On the palate, a clean lactic tartness provides a crisp counterpoint to the rich berry depth, while the hallmark salinity of the style subtly elevates the fruit flavors. The wheat-heavy grain bill lends a soft, doughy foundation, resulting in a refreshing yet indulgent profile that balances bright acidity with a creamy, lingering finish reminiscent of a summer berry trifle.

Appearance. Vivid reddish-pink to deep magenta; opaque with a heavy haze from fruit solids and wheat. Pours with a moderate, pale pink head that shows fair retention and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; bursting with fresh, sun-ripened raspberry and a distinct, creamy vanilla bean presence. Very low bready malt and a faint, clean lactic tang. Traditional coriander and salt notes are largely obscured by the fruit, providing only a subtle mineral freshness.

Taste. Immediate, sharp raspberry tartness followed by a smooth, sweet vanilla mid-palate. The malt character is doughy and bready, supporting the fruit puree. Hop bitterness is negligible, while a light salinity appears on the finish to enhance the fruit’s juiciness. Finishes tart and clean with a lingering berry-cream aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, more substantial than a standard Gose due to the 6.2% ABV and puree addition. Moderate carbonation with a soft, creamy texture from the vanilla. Very low alcohol warmth; no astringency.

Általában úgy főzik, hogy a gabona legalább 50%-a malátázott búza.
A gose sör domináns ízei közé tartozik a citromos savanyúság, a gyógynövényes jellegzetesség és az erős sós íz, amely vagy a helyi vízforrásokból, vagy a hozzáadott sóból származik.
