Ez utóbbi jellemzőbb a kisüzemi sörökre, mivel így lehet a legközelebb kerülni egy nem gluténmentes sör ízvilágához.

Európai Uniós szabályozás miatt minden egyes főzetnél laborvizsgálattal kell igazolni, hogy a sörben lévő gluténtartalom 20 ppm (az egész milliomod része) alatti, a Popstarban gyakorlatilag alig lehet kimutatni a glutént.
