This massive Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory tapestry, balancing the intense roast of dark malts with the distinctive character of Rye Bourbon barrel aging. The 12% ABV provides a significant but integrated warmth that carries aromatic waves of toasted oak, spicy rye, and rich vanilla. On the palate, the base of dark chocolate and espresso is ingeniously layered with the savory, nutty depth of roasted peanuts and a subtle, saline lick from salty pretzels.
