This American IPA presents a vibrant sensory profile defined by its playful, fruit-forward hop character. Expect an explosion of tropical notes, evoking pineapple and mango, alongside a bright citrus zest. A clean, supporting malt base of pale grains provides a subtle bready foundation without distracting from the hop intensity. The bitterness is firm yet well-integrated, leading to a crisp, dry finish. With its moderate strength and refreshing carbonation, it balances the bold, juicy aromatics with a classic structure, making for a highly drinkable and aromatically pungent experience that emphasizes fruity hop expression over malt complexity.
Appearance. Deep gold to light reddish-amber (approx. 8 SRM). Clear with a medium-sized, off-white head that shows good persistence and fine lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of tropical fruit, mango, and citrus zest. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background. Fermentation profile is clean with very light, supporting fruity esters.
Taste. High hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of pineapple and citrus. Low grainy-sweet malt provides a supportive backbone. Medium-high bitterness that is clean and not harsh. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and minimal malt sweetness.
