Aromas of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee dominate the profile, supported by a subtle, earthy hop presence. On the palate, it delivers deep cocoa and toasted grain flavors with a balanced, moderate bitterness. Despite its sessionable strength, it maintains a medium-full body and a moderately dry finish, offering a complex yet highly drinkable experience that rewards the palate.
Appearance. Very deep brown to near-black in color (35 SRM) and opaque. It features a thick, persistent tan head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of dark roasted grains, manifesting as espresso and dark chocolate. Subtle nutty notes from the oatmeal are present, alongside a low earthy hop character and faint dark fruit esters.
Taste. Initial impression of bittersweet chocolate and toasted bread. Prominent coffee-like roastiness follows, balanced by medium-high bitterness. The finish is moderately dry with lingering roasted grain and a clean, toasted aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated.
