Rolling Dices is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a high-impact blend of Strata and Nectaron hops. It pours a vivid, bright yellow with full turbidity, leading into a pungent sensory experience. The aroma is dominated by an explosion of tropical fruit, specifically notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and ripe peach. On the palate, the soft, full-bodied texture carries these intense fruit flavors forward with a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel and restrained bitterness. The grain-focused malt base provides a subtle bready foundation, allowing the citrus and stone fruit complexity of the New Zealand and American hops to shine through a clean, juicy finish.
Appearance. Vivid yellow (SRM 4); opaque with a substantial haze and a healthy shine. Topped by a medium, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and persistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; a pungent bouquet of tropical fruits driven by Strata and Nectaron. Distinct notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, and peach mingle with a background of lightly bready, neutral malt. Clean fermentation profile with supportive fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma, featuring bold grapefruit, juicy peach, and tangy passion fruit. Low bready malt flavor provides a steady foundation. Perceived bitterness is moderate but soft, masked by the substantial body and smooth texture. Finishes off-dry and clean with a lingering, juicy fruit aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body. Medium carbonation. Exceptionally smooth and creamy without any harshness or astringency. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
