This Italian Pils offers a refreshing, contemporary take on the classic German Pils style. A brilliant straw-gold pour is topped by a persistent white head, releasing high-intensity aromas of fresh herbs and delicate floral notes, bolstered by a modern dry-hopping technique. A gentle cereal body provides a soft, doughy foundation of Pilsner malt, which quickly yields to a sharp, rectilinear bitterness. The palate is defined by clean fermentation and a slender profile, where herbal hop flavors meld with subtle fruity undertones. It concludes in a crisp, triumphant bitter finish that invites another sip, embodying a perfect balance of traditional lager precision and modern hop aromatics.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3 SRM); brilliant clarity with a creamy, dense, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity featuring flowery and herbal hops with a distinctive dry-hopped lift. A low grainy-sweet and doughy malt presence provides a cracker-like base. The fermentation profile is exceptionally clean, devoid of esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial light malt sweetness is immediately overcome by a firm, assertive hop bitterness. Flavors of spicy, herbal hops and toasted crackers dominate the mid-palate. The balance is decidedly bitter, leading into a very dry, crisp, and clean finish with a lingering, pleasant bitterness and a hint of flinty minerality.
