Lupulus Organicus is an organic Belgian tripel ale from Les 3 Fourquets brewery. Founded in 2011, Les 3 Fourquets is a Belgian small-batch brewery based in the Ardennes region. Lupulus Organicus is a certified organic beer, using organic ingredients of the finest quality. The name ‘Tripel’ indicates that up to three times the usual amount of malt has been used in the brew, giving the beer a high ABV and malty sweetness. Tripels tend to be fairly bitter, as a healthy dose of hops is added to balance out the sweetness from the malt. Lupulus Organicus pours a hazy dark golden colour and offers up enticing floral aromas and spicy notes from the yeast.
