Lumpen Iggy is a vibrant, effervescent Saison that artfully balances rustic Belgian yeast character with a complex botanical bouquet. Pouring with a dense, rocky head, it leads with a high-intensity aroma of citrus and pome fruit, deeply layered with the warming spice of ginger and allspice. The palate reveals a dry, highly attenuated profile where soft, grainy malt supports a sophisticated spice blend of cardamom and coriander. Refreshing despite its strength, it finishes with a crisp, peppery snap and a lingering citrus zest from the orange peel, embodying a masterfully crafted farmhouse ale that is both strong and incredibly drinkable.

Appearance. Pale gold to light amber (6-8 SRM) with a very dense, long-lasting, rocky white head and excellent Belgian lace; slightly hazy due to being unfiltered and highly effervescent.

Aroma. High intensity aromatic mix of fruity esters like citrus and pear, alongside spicy phenols resembling black pepper. Significant botanical notes of orange peel, earthy coriander, floral cardamom, and a sharp hint of ginger and allspice are underpinned by a low, grainy malt character.

Taste. Initial dry and spicy impression with moderate hop bitterness amplified by high attenuation. Soft grainy malt flavors lead into a mid-palate of zesty orange and peppery yeast. The finish is exceptionally dry and refreshing, featuring a lingering botanical aftertaste of cardamom and ginger with no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high carbonation providing a prickly, effervescent sensation. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, complementing the dry finish without being heavy.
