Lowercase Brewing Patio Pilsner (Collab w/ Ridgewood and Bottleworks)

We designed this beer to be the perfect Patio beer…a crusher that was built for speed with subtlety in mind. We wanted to transport you to a patio if you weren’t on one so we put a bit of Czech Saaz in there for the worn, sunlit cedar that all good wooden decks have. Then we mixed in a couple handfuls of Crystal hops, partly because it’s related to Hallertau Mittelfruh (and we are Mittelfruh Children) but mostly because it has wisps of citrus and wood. We finished the aroma off with a dash of Loral which literally means Lemon/Floral and put that all on top of a Pilsner malt base with a pinch of English Crystal malt to make the beer reminiscent of drinking a sweet iced tea with a lemon wedge on a wooden patio…while still being dry and slammable.
