It was them sheisty Austrians and Germans that sneakily “borrowed” the innovative process, took it back to their homelands and began making lighter colored beer…eventually brewing the beer that has dominated the world since then…pilsner. We wanted to pay homage to England for its hand in making “the beer of kings” so we added a bit of English crystal malt to a Bohemian Pilsner malt base, saturated the wort with Czech Saaz hops, then fermented with THE Czech lager yeast.
This beer reminds us of the lovely Czech quote, “in times of great decison, have another beer”.
