Object Permanence, a collaborative 6.8% Hazy IPA from Long Live Beerworks and Buttonwoods Brewery, presents a vibrant tropical sensory profile. The hop character is intense and saturated, delivering layers of succulent mango, ripe pineapple, and sweet mandarin orange. A soft, pillowy foundation of flaked grains creates a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that carries the fruit-forward profile without the interference of aggressive bitterness. The malt character is subtly bready and clean, allowing the biotransformation-driven esters to shine. This Hazy IPA balances a lush, juicy sweetness with a restrained finish, emphasizing a high drinkability that masks its moderate alcohol strength beautifully.
