This American IPA exhibits a vibrant sensory profile defined by an intensive double dry-hopping regimen and four weeks of cold maturation. It pours a clear amber, releasing high-intensity aromas of zesty grapefruit and tropical passionfruit. The palate follows suit, leading with a sharp, clean bitterness characteristic of the West Coast style, supported by a restrained, toasty malt backbone. The fermentation remains exceptionally clean, allowing the hop-derived citrus and resin to dominate the experience. A decisively dry finish and crisp carbonation emphasize the assertive hop character, resulting in a refreshing yet punchy ale with a lingering, fruity aftertaste.
Appearance. Medium amber color (approx. 10–12 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a fine, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit zest and tropical passionfruit. Secondary notes of resinous pine and light floral undertones are present. A low, clean, toasted maltiness supports the hop-heavy nose. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean bitterness followed by waves of grapefruit and passionfruit hop flavors. Medium-high hop bitterness is balanced by a light toasted malt sweetness. The beer finishes very dry and crisp with a long-lasting, resinous, and hoppy aftertaste. Clean fermentation with no significant esters.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a lively mouthfeel. A subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present without being harsh.
