A vibrant West Coast-style interpretation of a German Pils, Westbound marries traditional lager crispness with modern American hop intensity. The sensory experience is defined by a bold interplay of Strata and Mosaic hops, contributing layers of passion fruit, dank resin, and mixed berries over a clean, cracker-like malt foundation. While it honors the dry, bitter finish of a classic German Pils, the tropical and citrus-forward aromatics elevate the profile into something more contemporary. Brilliantly clear and highly refreshing, it balances an assertive bitterness with a snappy, attenuated finish that highlights the precision of cold-fermented lager yeast and high-quality pale malts.

Appearance. Straw to light gold (3 SRM); brilliant clarity; large, frothy white head with excellent retention and persistent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity; prominent tropical notes of passion fruit and grapefruit from Strata, complemented by berry-like esters and floral hints from Mosaic. Low, clean, doughy malt character supports the hop-forward profile with no diacetyl or DMS.
