Lobik Nectaron is a saturated Hazy IPA that celebrates the distinctive intensity of its namesake hop variety. This expression pours with a glowing, opaque radiance, delivering an immediate sensory punch of ripe peach, passion fruit, and bright pineapple. The heavy dry-hopping of Nectaron creates a lush, nectar-like profile where stone fruit dominates, supported by a soft, pillowy malt base of light bread and grain. On the palate, the experience is creamy and juice-forward, with minimal perceived bitterness and a smooth, rounded finish. It captures a modern New England-style character, emphasizing vibrant tropical saturation and a luxurious, velvety texture.
Appearance. 3–7 SRM. Straw to light orange-amber with a deep, opaque haze and a luminous shine. Supports a dense, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by stone fruit (nectarine, peach) and tropical notes (pineapple, passion fruit). Clean, grainy, and lightly bready malt provides a neutral background. Subtle fruity yeast esters are well-integrated without any harsh grassy or herbal notes.
Taste. Very high fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma’s stone fruit and tropical focus. Low, supportive bready malt flavor. Bitterness is low to medium-low, perceived as soft rather than sharp. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, juice-like hop aftertaste that lacks any astringency.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Medium carbonation. Exhibits a smooth, velvety mouthfeel without being syrupy or viscous. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth at 6.5% ABV.
