Lobik Brewmando
Lobik Brewmando is a bold Hazy IPA that artfully balances its 7% ABV with remarkable drinkability. The sensory profile is defined by an intense hop saturation, showcasing a vibrant bouquet of mango, passion fruit, and citrus zest. Using iconic Citra and Mosaic hops, the aroma and flavor explode with tropical depth, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. Its appearance is characteristically opaque with a luminous glow, leading into a lush, pillowy palate. The finish is smooth and low in bitterness, emphasizing a ‘juicy’ character that lingers with notes of sweet tangerine and stone fruit without any resinous harshness.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (4-6 SRM) with a consistent, opaque haze and a healthy ‘shine.’ Features a large, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring tropical fruits like pineapple and mango, alongside citrus notes of grapefruit and orange. Low grainy, bready malt sweetness in the background; clean fermentation with supportive fruity esters.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the tropical and citrus aroma; low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is soft and well-integrated. Low bready malt flavor provides a neutral base. Finish is off-dry to medium and exceptionally smooth with a lingering fruit-juice aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture and no astringency. Medium carbonation contributes to a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
