Lo vilot Liska
Liska is a bright and assertive American IPA that captures the essence of classic West Coast profiles. The sensory experience is dominated by the bold interaction of Chinook and Cascade hops, delivering a vibrant bouquet of pine resin and grapefruit zest alongside hints of exotic fruit. A clean, neutral malt backbone provides a structural foundation without competing for attention, allowing the hop-derived oils to shine through. It finishes exceptionally dry and refreshing, with a firm, lingering bitterness that invites another sip. The overall character is crisp and hop-forward, balanced by a light, effervescent body and a clean fermentation profile.
Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber (6-10 SRM). Pours with a persistent, medium-sized white head that leaves attractive lacing. Generally clear, though a faint, translucent haze may be present.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring the classic resinous pine and spicy grapefruit notes of Chinook and Cascade. Subtle undertones of tropical exotic fruit are supported by a low, clean, grainy malt presence. Fermentation is very clean with negligible esters.
Taste. The initial impression is a punch of citrus and resinous hop flavor. High bitterness is immediately apparent but balanced by a low, grainy malt sweetness. The mid-palate reveals layers of grapefruit and woodsy pine. It concludes with a very dry, crisp finish and a long, clean, bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Light to medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, enhancing the drying sensation of the bitterness. Very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth is appropriate for its strength.
