Lluna Na Lloba
This gluten-free European Pale Ale presents a harmonious balance of bready malt and bright citrus accents. It opens with an inviting aroma of toasted biscuits and subtle orange zest, leading into a palate defined by a sturdy malt backbone reminiscent of fresh grain. This is complemented by a moderate hop bitterness that provides a clean, refreshing snap. Despite the enzymatic gluten reduction, the beer maintains a satisfying medium body and a smooth, suave texture. It finishes dry and crisp, leaving a lingering trail of citrus peel and a gentle earthy sweetness that highlights its approachable character.
Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber with excellent clarity. Topped by a dense, off-white head that shows moderate retention and leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring bready and lightly toasted malt notes. Distinctive citrus hop character suggesting lemon and grapefruit. Clean fermentation profile with very low fruity esters.
Taste. Initial malty sweetness with hints of biscuit and honey. Hop flavor is moderately high, showcasing citrusy and slightly floral notes. Bitterness is firm but balanced, leading to a clean, off-dry finish with a pleasant aftertaste of citrus rind.
