Little Pomona Ripple is a masterclass in the expression of the Egremont Russet apple, delivering a sophisticated, still, and bone-dry sensory experience. At a robust 8.4% ABV, it presents a concentrated aromatic profile defined by the variety’s signature nutty, honeyed, and slightly savory skin-like qualities. The absence of carbonation allows the complex layers of ripe orchard fruit and delicate floral undertones to take center stage. On the palate, the high acidity is perfectly countered by a medium body and a subtle alcoholic warmth, leading to an exceptionally clean and lingering finish that celebrates the heritage of the fruit without any residual sweetness.

Appearance. Deep gold to amber (SRM 6-8); brilliant clarity with no visible carbonation. Being a still cider, it lacks any foam, head, or lacing.

Aroma. High intensity with a complex bouquet of bruised yellow apples, toasted walnuts, and dried honey. Subtle earthy and spicy notes are present, characteristic of the Egremont Russet variety, without any yeast-derived sulfur or phenolic off-flavors.

Taste. Initial impression is bone dry and acidic. Distinctive flavors of apple skin and nut butter dominate, supported by a rich, savory depth. Very low tannin presence typical of culinary heritage fruit. The high alcohol provides a structural backbone, balancing the sharp acidity. The finish is long, dry, and remarkably clean with a lingering nutty aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost oily texture. Completely still with zero carbonation. Notable alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, providing a vinous quality. No perceptible astringency.
