Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of resinous pine, zesty grapefruit, and bright lemon peel. Secondary notes of honeydew melon and floral blossoms are present. Malt is low and clean, reminiscent of crackery pale grain. Fermentation is neutral with no significant esters.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus zest and pine needles. Mid-palate reveals flavors of grapefruit pulp and a touch of sweet melon. Malt flavor is low, providing a neutral, grainy foundation that stays out of the way of the hops. Bitterness is firm and assertive but clean.
