This expressive Porter presents an intricate marriage of roasted malts and artisanal coffee from 47 Degrees Coffee. The sensory profile opens with layers of dark chocolate and soft caramel, driven by a dual-roast coffee blend. The medium roast beans contribute subtle hints of fruit and sweetness, while the darker roast provides a deep, roasted backbone that complements the chocolatey malt base. This synergy results in a cohesive, medium-full bodied ale where the coffee intensity is balanced by the underlying grain bill, finishing with a clean, lingering roast character and a sophisticated cocoa-driven complexity.
Appearance. Deep, opaque brown to near-black (SRM 35–40) with garnet highlights when held to the light. It features a thick, creamy, tan-colored head with good retention and fine lacing.
