LINEMAN

This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant tapestry of modern hop character, led by the classic pairing of Simcoe and Citra. The nose is greeted by an immediate rush of sweet citrus and ripe mango, underpinned by a distinct, resinous pine note derived from the Simcoe. On the palate, the Citra provides a bright, juicy orange and lime zest quality, while light tropical fruit flavors of passionfruit and pineapple dance across a soft, bready malt base. Despite its hop-forward nature, the bitterness remains smooth and restrained, allowing the plush, pillowy texture to highlight the lush fruit complexity and clean, off-dry finish typical of this contemporary style.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (approximately 4-6 SRM) with a characteristic hazy, nearly opaque appearance that exhibits a luminous shine. It features a medium-sized, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by sweet citrus, grapefruit, and mango, with a subtle resinous pine background. Low, neutral bready malt provides a supportive base, while fermentation esters are clean and complement the tropical fruit profile.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of orange juice, tropical fruit, and a smidge of pine. Low to medium-light bready malt flavor. Perceived bitterness is moderate but remains soft and well-integrated, leading to a smooth, off-dry finish without any harsh hop bite or astringency.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a characteristic soft, pillowy mouthfeel and no harshness. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated at 5.7% ABV, providing a smooth, approachable texture.
