Lindheim Ølkompani Travern is a lean, assertive interpretation of the American IPA, leaning heavily into the classic West Coast tradition. Despite its sessionable strength, it delivers a sharp, resinous punch. Bright citrus zest and deep pine needle aromas dominate the sensory profile, supported by a very restrained, crackery malt base. The fermentation is exceptionally clean, allowing the hop-derived oils to provide a crisp, refreshing edge. It finishes bone-dry with a lingering, assertive bitterness that invites another sip, embodying an old-school approach where clarity and hop bite take center stage over modern sweetness or haze.
