A powerful aromatic bouquet leads with resinous pine and dank earthiness from Chinook and Columbus, closely followed by the vibrant citrus and tropical highlights of Citra, Simcoe, and Krush. On the palate, a clean, grainy malt backbone provides a transparent stage for intense hop flavors, where grapefruit zest and stone fruit notes transition into a firm, lingering bitterness. Its dry finish and sparkling carbonation highlight the classic American IPA profile, making for a refreshing yet complex sensory journey that emphasizes hop precision over malt weight.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a deep gold to light copper hue (SRM 7-9). Topped with a dense, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of resinous pine, grapefruit peel, and subtle tropical fruits like mango and peach. A low, clean, crackery malt sweetness supports the hops. Fermentation is clean with no significant esters.
Taste. Sharp, clean bitterness leads into a wash of resinous pine and citrus zest. Flavors of tangerine and light passion fruit emerge mid-palate. The malt character is low and grainy, providing minimal sweetness. Finishes very dry and crisp with a persistent, clean hop-bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. High carbonation provides a lively, scrubbing sensation. A very soft, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
