This refreshing German Pils showcases a modern twist on a classic continental style. It pours a brilliant, straw-colored gold with a resilient white head. The sensory profile is defined by the unique inclusion of Mosaic hops, which impart divine notes of lemon balm and a subtle hint of blueberry against a clean, crackery cereal malt backdrop. The palate is exceptionally crisp and dry, balancing a moderate floral bitterness with a bright, citrusy hop character. It finishes clean with a lingering minerality, making it a highly drinkable and vibrant interpretation that honors traditional lager techniques while highlighting contemporary hop aromatics.

Appearance. Straw to pale yellow (approx. 3 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Pours with a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves delicate lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderately high hop aroma featuring distinct notes of lemon balm and sweet blueberry from the Mosaic hops. Supporting these are low, clean cereal and grainy-sweet malt scents reminiscent of fresh crackers. The fermentation profile is very clean with no diacetyl or sulfur, emphasizing the floral and fruity hop qualities.

Taste. The initial impression is a light, grainy malt sweetness that is quickly superseded by a firm hop bitterness. Flavors of lemon zest and light berry fruit mingle with a spicy, herbal quality. The finish is decidedly dry and crisp, with a lingering bitterness that remains clean. No significant yeast esters are present, allowing the interplay between the Mosaic hops and the pilsner malt to shine.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a brisk, high carbonation that enhances the refreshing character. It feels light on the palate with a slight minerally sharpness in the finish. No alcohol warmth is detected at 4.5% ABV.
